Assignments,online research and planning
Just putting the finishing touches to my Dighist critique, so that I can continue the essays later. The amount of jargon on my chosen historical site is amazing. No wonder I found concentrating difficult on Friday when we analysed some of those sites! It took a couple of days to get to the end of it all before I could make any sense of it and summarize it in 500 or so words. Not quite there yet, as still have some points to clarify.
Managed to identify most of the points needed, except for data capture.The software tools that this site uses are quite extensive which is what makes it operate well, I thnk.
Just been blogging during my 'break'. Plan for this afternoon: prep for Linguistics tomorrow, more essay drafts if time and continue with the Reform essay. Hope the tutor liked my plan( it was mandatory) listing all the sources and justifying them took more time than I intended..
Would like to check out some more sites and blogs tonight or during the week.
I couldn't believe how many difficult words and acronyms there were on that web site we looked at during the workshop! I thought the idea of digital history websites was to make history accessible to the general public! We spent more time googling difficult words than anything else!

That is true to a certain extent, but there are major sites that are more user-friendly I'm sure. I would need time to make survey of those! Meanwhile I think I have enough information for the limitations of the site I am analysing. Yours looks fine, but then again I'm no expert.
